The Birds of Summer

About a week ago, my husband was out back cutting the tall grass. When I got a phone call from him. He said, "Get out here quick! I think I might have run over some birds!"

Thank goodness... all 3 baby Woodcocks, and the mother, were safe and sound. The noise from tractor had scared them. I decide this was a great chance, since we'd scared the mother bird off any way, to snap some photos of the babies. Don't worry the mother returned the minute I left. If you look... you can actually see me in the birds eye. I'm a giant to that baby Woodcock!

I also had the chance to see and photograph what started out as 3 little blue Robin's eggs, and turned into 2 fluffy little baby Robins. I only had a chance to snap a couple shots of the baby Robins, as the mother was quite mad chirping loudly in a nearby tree. (I realize it's not the best of shots.) Don't you love the baby birds... such a beautiful sign of summer!

Becoming a Photographer

I am a amateur/hobbyist photographer who is trying to make a new career change to the world of Photography. Will I make it? Only time will tell. You be the judge as I post new photos. I need your criticism to help make my pictures better. Check back and let me know what u think!

This photo I call "Fast Track to Color" was taken in Cheyenne, WY. I color faded it in photoshop.
