My world; the usual for me, I get to a destination, drop off cars and leave. So yesterday I arrived near Boston, MA, at a Holiday Inn in Boxborough, to deliver some cars. This load was different though. I was to reloaded the same cars the next day (today). So I decided last night, if I was going to have to come back, why not get a room and stay the night. I wanted to get out of the truck, stretch my legs. I've been in that truck, night and day, since August 6th; running from MI to CA to MI to VA to NY to MA (and now back to MI). I think I deserved it. Besides there's nothing better than a real shower vs. a camper-style shower. And all that living space, compared to my semi-truck. My husband wanted to save the money, and stay in the truck. A small argument ensued, but victory was mine. Afterall, if you've seen his Facebook page, he's always got some sort of so-called "Project" going on. How did he think he could even win this argument with that ace in my pocket? Besides, it was sweet... he thanked me this morning for getting the room. It was exactly what we needed, a small break from the truck. Inside the hotel there was a small restaurant/bar. Although, the food was sort of disappointing. I still enjoyed my sea scallops. Then this evening we reloaded the cars. And, as the sign says, "Leaving Massachusetts - Come back soon" off we went, into the sunset.
Which leads me into the next two pictures, taken in New York, of the beautiful sunset we headed into.
