What a pleasant surprise. Last year I stocked my pond with 20 Koi. But, by the end of summer, a crane spotted them and proceeded to eat all but one. That one fish survived over the winter, only to die a few weeks into the spring of this year. So I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a couple of fish in the pond. I decided to get some shots of the fish today when my pond was unusally clear. I still can't believe it... my fish, had fish!
This bug also surprised me today. Have you ever heard of the Eastern Eyed Click Beetle? I never have until this little bug showed up at my house. I thought it was a little creepy when I first saw it. But I quickly grabbed my camera and got a couple shots before it flew away. It photographed very well. Very interesting to look at... now that I'm not face to face with it! :o)
